Freelance Video Creator

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

•
Create high-quality, short-form videos according to topic requests
•
Cut versions specifically for major platforms and upload on regular basis
•
Generate creative concepts focusing on stories in the entertainment, news, culture, and lifestyle topics
•
Work with other production staff to craft ideas into engaging series and one-off videos

Qualifications:

•
1-2 years of professional video production experience
•
Own equipment including but not limited to Camera, Editing Software, Laptop, etc.
•
Passionate about content creating and storytelling
•
Self-motivated with attention to details
•
Strong writing skills in Chinese
•
At least 6 months, with opportunities to renew or transfer to full-time positions

Media Internship Program

Location: Remote

This is a part-time/full-time internship for 12 - 24 weeks and will be given an insight into the key skills required to learn and manage video-content marketing. You will work with a supportive and tightly-knit group of passionate content creators in the Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

•
Help content team acquire and manage compelling content assets
•
Assist with the daily content production across media channels
•
Provide video editing & production support throughout marketing and content teams
•
Pitch story ideas to digital media and utilize social media for video-based messaging

Qualifications:

•
Comfortable editing in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X
•
Knowledge of basic graphic design
•
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
•
Experience creating videos on social media platform would be a plus
•
Strong writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese

Our internship program is designed to provide the opportunity to learn about video content & digital media industry while gaining work experience. By the end of program, you should have hands-on digital media practices and great understanding of social media marketing, video content marketing, and current market trends. Participants in this program will be more competitive for a career in the media industry. This is an unpaid internship but college credit is available.
